  • ITINERARIO

Day 1 Santiago Airport (SCL) – Punta Arenas (PUQ).
Upon arrival in Punta Arenas, considered the southernmost city of the continent, a private transfer will be waiting for you to drive to Estancia Las Chinas. Leaving the airport you can see the Strait of Magellan and the mythical Tierra del Fuego. For about 5 hours we will cross the extensive pampas and their estancias where we may have the opportunity to see one of the characteristic animals of the area, the ñandú (similar to the ostrich). We will continue north to reach Puerto Natales, a typical fishing village surrounded by mountains, located in the Seno de Última Esperanza. From here we will follow a dirt road to Estancia Tercera Barranca, a typical example of regional stays, with incredible views of the famous Torres del Paine.

Day 2 Laguna Azul – Las Chinas Waterfall.
After an early and abundant breakfast, we will ride towards the sector of Laguna Azul and Cascada Las Chinas. During the journey, we will have the Torres del Paine permanently in the background, being able to disperse and ride at different rhythms, giving us a feeling of freedom that in few places in the world it is possible to feel. After a few hours, we will arrive to Las Chinas Waterfall where we will stop for lunch.

After lunch, we will resume our horses to head back to the ranch. Here we will enjoy a good Pisco Sour (typical Chilean drink, distilled from Muscat grapes) and an authentic roast of lamb to the stick in the patagon style!
(6-7 hours, step, trot and gallop) (D-BL-D) (Night in Estancia Tercera Barranca).

Day 3 Torres del Paine National Park – Camping Serrano
This is undoubtedly the longest day and in which all your senses will be stimulated by the beautiful landscapes and intense colors of the lakes, rivers, glaciers and mountains of Torres del Paine National Park. We will cross the park from east to west through pampas, lagoons, vegas, mountain paths and forests, being able to appreciate from its horse the different places and mountainous formations that make this park one of the most beautiful places on the planet. On the way we will make a break for lunch and then continue our journey to the administration sector, and from there take the last breath to reach the Camping Serrano, located on the edge of the park and from where you have one of the best views the horns!
(6-7 hours walk, trot and gallop, 30 minutes private transfer) (D-BL-C) (Night in Camping Serrano)

Day 4 Viewpoint of the Gray Glacier – Lake Pehoé
After a good breakfast in our camp, we will start the ride to the viewpoint of the Gray glacier. We start crossing a huge pampa, which will allow us to gallop as much as we want! Once we reach the Gray River, with its impressive glacier of the same name that is part of the Southern Ice Field, third world ice reserve with 350 kilometers long. With this breathtaking view we will enjoy a picnic lunch, then begin the return by the same path, taking advantage of the countless pampas to enjoy a good gallop.
(7 hours walk, trot and gallop) (D-BL-C) (Night in Camping Serrano)

Day 5 Brush Lake – Brush Camp
We will disarm camp and cross the Serrano River to go to the house of Aniceto Astorga, one of the most charismatic baqueanos in the area. With the election of our horses we will enter an unexplored valley, limit of Torres del Paine National Park. We will cross rivers, lakes and swamps, as we go we will be surprised by the different views of the Paine massif and the last glaciers of the Southern Ice Field. We will camp and spend the night on the shores of Lake Brush, next to an old cattle ranch.
(10 minutes private transfer, 4 hours walk and jog) (D-BL-BBQ) (Night in Campamento Brush).

Day 6 Bernardo O’Higgins National Park – Hostería Balmaceda
After a comforting breakfast we will continue towards Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. The wind is the main factor of climate, predominating in spring and summer, reaching in some opportunities winds over 100 kilometers per hour. The summer temperature (December-March) ranges from 4 degrees minimum and 15 degrees Celsius maximum (being able to go down to temperatures below zero at night) and sometimes reaching up to 25 degrees Celsius. During this season the days have up to 18 hours of daylight. In October and April the temperatures can be a little colder, with high possibilities of a stable climate with less wind
